DIY macrame skeleton ornament
Just in time for spooky season and maybe even your Christmas tree? I made these cute little macrame skeleton ornaments! They’re so easy to make, using recycled cotton cord and hand-drawn skeleton faces on wooden beads. Want to try making one yourself? I recorded a quick video to show you how it’s done! Materials you'll need: - Wooden bead, 16-18mm with 5mm hole - Waterproof marker - 3mm braided cotton cord, one 40cm/15.75in and one 45cm/17.70in (I used Bobbiny cord) - scissors - cork mat - pins Steps: 1. Draw a spooky skeleton face on the bead 2. Fold the 40cm cord in half and pin it to the mat, then fold the 45cm cord in half and make three square knots 3. Slide the bead onto the cord If you’re making these for small kids: be sure to secure the bead! You can make a longer loop and tie a knot above the bead, or add a little glue inside the hole so it stays firmly in place. Safety first 🖤💀 4. Knot the ends of the cords to make little arms and legs, make sure they're the same length. You can cut the ends Tag me if you make your own! #skeletondecor #diyideas #SpookySeason #christmasornament #halloweendecoration #gothicdecor #spookydecor #gothichomedecor
