I needed a mobile work station / work table / workbench that I could roll around my small shop to get it out of the way when it's not in use. I ended up building a 65" x 48" bench with an approximate work height of 35". 6" heavy duty casters, 4x4 legs with lap joints to support the top and bottom frames. I used an MDF top, with plans to coat it in tung oil and shellac. I didn't add the bottom shelf yet (forgot to pick up a sheet of plywood and we live a long way from the store). I hope this gives somebody an idea on building their own mobile work station.
