DIY Remote Holder
I know where I normally leave the remote. I know where my wife normally the leaves the remote. I have no idea where my daughters leave the remote. There's no guarantee the remote is even in my house anymore. It could be in the car! It could travel to another state! I become irrationally angry looking under cushions and moving blankets looking for a small piece of plastic with buttons. I can't say that this holder will solve this problem, but it doesn't hurt and one of my mottos is "a place for everything and everything in its place" so this just makes me feel better in general. As a footnote I want to mention that this box was built out of small pieces of scrap wood. So small that I had to glue wood together so the boards would be pig enough. Sometimes I enjoy the process of getting another project built out of wood that might have had no more hope, but today it was more of an irritant exchanging time for money on a day when I didn't want to spend much time on the project. But, it is done! And, aside from my time, the project was free.
