DIY Solid Perfume in a Locket

Hi Everyone! Today we’re making solid perfume. I love perfume a lot. Some might call it an obsession. Solid perfume is another great way to carry your favorite scent without risk of bottle breakage, spilling, or other accidents. Despite the wonderful versatility of solid perfume, many of our favorite scents just don’t come with that option. That’s why today, I’m sharing my easy DIY solid perfume recipe. This cosmetic is great to make for yourself, or as a gift. The ingredients are simple and all natural, and it only takes a few minutes to make. Solid perfume can be made with any scent. I use a blend of essential oils in the video, but you can use your favorite perfume too! Most of the same storage rules for traditional perfume apply to solid perfume. The usual method is an airtight container out of direct light and away from heat. In today’s project I’m housing my fragrance in lockets. These beautiful necklaces are a great way to not only carry your favorite fragrance along with you throughout the day for easy application, they make for wonderful little aromatherapy diffusers. The heat from your skin will warm the back of the necklace enough to release the scent, but not enough to melt the beeswax.
