DIY Valve Spring Tester

Welcome to my latest endeavor to explain how to check valve spring forces with a DIY El-cheapo test rig. Some spreadsheet explaining even though I know most of you skip through it, the few that care view it multiple times and that is why I do this. I have lots of projects going on at any given time and most of them require specialized tools or equipment to get the job done. I have a small shop and limited resources, so I generally look for the cheapest and most challenging to accomplish my goals. As a Mechanical Engineer I am constantly trying to build a better mousetrap or some such doodad. In this episode it is a fuel injector tester to test injectors for various project I am working on. One of which is: A 68 Fastback Mustang Build which will include a coupe to fastback conversion, Twin turbocharged BMW S85 V10, 6 speed manual, Aero updates, full cage, custom suspension, and so much more.
