When the production of the song began, the very first thing I created was the sound you can hear in the intro melody at the very beginning of the song. This synth really inspired me because while the sound is super simple, it created this calm and melancholic atmosphere. This chillness also gave me the opportunity to slow down the tempo of the song a little bit. I don’t know if it is just me or a thing with Finnish in general, but I’ve always enjoyed melancholic, sad and emotional melodies. There’s also another cool thing about Astra. This is my first song where you can hear the Finnish language! At the beginning of the first drop you can hear one word that is spoken in Finnish. But can you tell what it means?
