DM-307 Recording the Grid (MIDI & Audio) Tutorial

Hi! I'm going to show you how to setup Kontakt so that you can record MIDI from the Grid in DM-307 (and other virtual instruments) using Logic Pro X, though this same technique can be used with most Digital Audio Workstations. A MIDI to host drag and drop isn't built into the grid inside DM-307, because of Kontakt limitations, but it is possible to setup and send MIDI from Kontakt to achieve MIDI recording from your Grid in DM-307. I'll also show you how to route to an audio bus track to record via audio so you'll have creative freedom to take your work wherever you see fit. All intro song sounds were made with Heavyocity's DM-307, AEON Melodic collection and Damage, apart from the lead synth, which was created with Massive by Native Instruments.
