A spinning top that is also a magnet toy...
Tim's drinks list - hold the clear rod over the names of different drinks and the names all turn upside down, since the rod acts as a lens. However on the other side of the card are other words that do NOT turn upside down when viewed through the rod. What is going on?
A cardboard folding object that can morph into different shapes
Pens that have a slow unfolding mechanism...
A rubber washer type toy from Germany. Turn it inside out and drop it and it jumps up into the air!
A 'whatsit' or a WIF (what is it for?) toy... a toy that Tim cannot remember exactly what it is for!
Finally an entrapment puzzle. Easy to attach to someone's button hole, but harder to take it off!
