Melbourne locals Hobsons Bay Coast Guard burst out of nowhere fully formed. What began as the side project from members of Portal Bat, Money for Rope, Splendidid and Sun Bazel, HBCG was never meant to be anything more than a cheap DIY passion project, but the surf monster has grown way bigger than anyone anticipated. Catchy sun-drenched hooks, warped chords and trashy, manic drums are all smashed together in a coastal themed paint-your-own-adventure colouring book.
