Are you sure you're not shorting your estimate? There's that awesome saying out there "you don't know what you don't know" and that perfectly describes those that start using Xactimate and don't know that they are leaving money behind.
Knowing what Units are applied to your line items makes a difference when entering the quantity of the labor and material. If you don't know that the unit is set to SF instead of LF, you could be majorly shorting yourself on the RCV value of the estimate.
