Double-furnace UPCAST® lines comprise of separate melting and holding furnaces connected with a short, gas-tight launder. Maximum output from such a configuration is 40,000 TPA. There are six different melting furnaces and four holding furnaces available with combined holding capacities ranging from 11 up to 40 tons of molten copper.
