DOUBLE MODIFIED BLOOM

Well, first of all I want to thank all of you who welcomed me back! Thank you so much for dropping in and watching my video! I have been so busy this summer. Yes, I have some other irons in the fire. Are any of you into sublimation yet? Well, if you are – I have designs! Lots of them. I’ll get into that later. Here is a list of what paints and recipes I used for this painting: • My PILLOW PAINT is WalMart Colorplace Ready To Use Satin White – 14oz of paint with one tablespoon of water. • The POURING MEDIUM – I used for this one was Sherwin Williams Satin (indoor/outdoor) ultra deep base – I was out of my HGTV Sherwin Williams Satin – Base C. I used 3 tablespoons of the SW ultra deep base– plus one tablespoon of Minwax Polycrylic --- and I added 1 tablespoon of Josonja varnish. • The CELL ACTIVATOR – Floetrol 2TBS, Glue All 1TBS, Pre Stain Minwax -1/2tsp and ½ tablespoon of Amsterdam White. THE PAINT COLORS: • Mont Marte Burnt Umber, Burnt Sienna and Turquoise • Masters Touch Turquoise Green and Yellow Ochre (NOTE: since these are pretty thick paints – I used about ½ tablespoon (or 2 good squirts of each paint to the pouring medium). I divided the pouring medium between 5 cups (well between 3 cups) as I already had 2 of the colors mixed from a previous pour. Stir well until all of your medium and paint is mixed.
