This DIY friendship bracelet is made by knotting over two holding threads at either side to create a double wave pattern. I've seen patterns similar to this referred to as "Peruvian Wave" although I don't know if a double version goes by the same name.
This is a fairly quick pattern to work and may be suitable for people who are fairly new to friendship bracelet making. For absolute beginners, I would recommend practising the basic knots of macrame/friendship bracelet making before attempting this pattern, to avoid frustration/disappointment.
