Most shop drawers waste a ton of vertical space. In this project, I show how to double your drawer storage by adding a simple sliding tray inside an existing drawer. The top tray slides back to reveal a second storage layer below, keeping tools and supplies organized, visible, and easy to access. It’s a quick, scrap-friendly project that works just as well in the kitchen as it does in the shop.
