Handling downloads with the playwright is easy. The playwright provides a "download" event for the file. So when the user clicks on the download button, file download starts and it waits for the event to complete. Also, the user can provide the complete path of the folder where you want to store the downloaded file. In some cases, the user might not know when the download of the file will start (in case of automatic download) in that case also user can also handle the download and print the file path where it got downloaded.
In this video with Playwright, Typescript I will show you how to download a sample file and store at specific path with the code. Also, I will explain the code and the documentation with a few tips and tricks around.
