The DPV cave diving training programs are designed to provide training for cave divers who are qualified for cave diving, have experience swimming in caves, and have wishes and needs to conduct dives that warrant the use of a scooter or DPV. These training programs also address the cave conservation concerns and the ethical responsibilities of divers who wish to use DPVs for extended penetration, touring, or exploration. The DPV training programs involve intense skills in gear failure, diving limits, conservation concerns, and decompression concerns.
