A somewhat sped-up video of designing a man's doublet from simple sloper to finished pattern using Inkscape. Only the front is shown; the back and sleeves use the same general steps.

The final pattern is NOT period - I know the shoulder and side seams are incorrectly placed, and the waist is way too low, for instance - though the general look I'm shooting for is mid-late 16th century. Call it, "plausibly authentic."
