Sometimes - as a wildlife photographer - when waiting for the big animals to make an appearance, look closer and narrow your gaze, and you will see another world within a few meters of you. I was sitting on the edge of a dam waiting for a pod of hippo, wallowing in the distance, to do something interesting. A flash of colour caught my eye, a mere meter and a half away from me on the waters edge. I shifted the aim of the video camera and zoomed in ... and captured the dance of the dragonfly.
