Last fall a lady had me come pick up a dresser from her back yard that a hive of bees had moved into. Rather than trying to move the bees in the fall, I elected to let them over winter in the dresser and wait until spring to remove them.
Today was the removal. I had a couple of people come help: Gentry Gonzales (from my club's youth program) and Alan Hammack (a newbee getting his first Nucs in a few weeks).
