Driftmachine played one of their very nice live performances at the K1 during SUPERBOOTH19. The modular duo was founded by Andreas Gerth and Florian Zimmer. Gerth is a visual artist and member of the Tied & Tickled Trio. His solo project is named loopspool, he worked together with the likes of Ted Milton and Shackleton. Zimmer is one half of ISO68 and member of the band Saroos. Driftmachine released six albums on Umor Rex. They are accompanied by the artist Mika Shkurat. He works with an analogue video synthesizer. Gerth’s and Zimmer’s synths are linked via sync. Shkurat plays independently, using live material from camera.
