drive:impressions is a very well received poetic documentary created by Craig Calhoun.
Long drives bring the driver into interesting states of attention and consciousness. This documentary attempts to replicate the feeling of being a driver on a very long drive. Notice the lack of a destination. Note the change in speed relative to attention paid. Process the audio clips, memories from the journey mixed together, a second here and there. This was very well received in an academic setting.
