In this video, I show how I built a Driver Drowsiness Detection System using Deep Learning and a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). Starting from the MRL eye dataset, I walk through data preprocessing, training an image classification model to detect open vs closed eyes, and integrating the model into a real-time webcam application that can identify when a driver is getting sleepy. This project is perfect for beginners in computer vision and demonstrates how AI can be used to improve road safety. I also share the tools, libraries, and workflow used so you can build and improve your own version of this project.
