Drop Drive Second Sun Preview

There is so much content in this upcoming expansion for Drop Drive Second Sun. New two-system area setup, co-op play with different invasion scenarios, planetary projects, specimen research, crew tiles, nexus tiles, and more. Everything added makes the game more interesting and/or provides more variety. Being able to play interesting solo and co-op games is a huge plus here. Preview Highlights: + Second Sun layout provides more interesting interactions and movements + Introduces cooperative play vs many different invasion scenarios + Will introduce solo-play + Specimen Research module makes specimens more interesting throughout the game and not just end game points + Contract Crew provides really cool and helpful abilities + Modular elements allowing you to choose what elements you want to play with - some or all - Added elements can slow down gameplay - Specimen Research while lots of fun, does definitely add some more randomness; which may be frustrating for some Overall, I really enjoyed all of the elements of this expansion. I think they all provide some really interesting game experiences and I really enjoyed the cooperative game modes. The crew powers are really cool, and the specimen research while frustrating at times - is a very nice thematic engaging element.
