📘 Welcome to Part 226 of Code & Debug’s DSA in Python Course!
Convert a Roman numeral string to its integer using a single pass and the subtraction rule. Map each Roman symbol to its value; when a symbol is smaller than the next one, subtract it, otherwise add it. This yields an O(n) time, O(1) space solution that’s clean and interview-proven.
