DSL Controllers, F to C conversion
This video demonstrates how to change the display on a DSL-series temperature controller to show °C or °F. Transcript: Hello, I am Ed Dulzer with the Process Technology Technical Support Team. I am here to show you how to adjust the units on a DSL Temperature Controller. The factory default is in degrees Fahrenheit. If you want to change your units, the setting is found in the secure menu. To access the secure menu, you press and hold the “up” arrow and the enter keys together for about 5 seconds. It will display the first screen; the “SECr” screen. Now, were in security level 4, which is good and unlocks the menu. If this number was 1, 2, or 3, your locked out from making changes. Then to enter security level 4, use the “up” or “down” arrows to enter the value 111. Press the enter key and that is the password to get to security level 4. Once were here, you can press the “set” key, index through the menu, and look for the lower display to say “unit”. You can see here its set for Fahrenheit; you can use the arrow keys to change that to Celsius, press your enter key, and that is how you make your change. Now, to leave the menu, you can press the “up” arrow and the “enter” key again once and then release. That will kick you back to the secondary menu; press your set key a few times, and you are back to your normal display. Now you will see it is in Celsius. That is how you adjust the units on the DSL Series Temperature Controller. Thank you.
