In this video I go over the schematic and voltage readings of a typical dual element non-simultaneous electric hot water heater. These units use 2 daisy chained thermostats to control the on/off function in a 240V system. These circuits are fascinating in that there is 120V to ground everywhere, on all connections, all the time. A unique perspective when using 240V without a neutral.
