Learn how biologists ID ducks by their wings. All wings used in this video came from hunter harvest samples sent in to state agencies for data collection. This data provides information that helps estimate survival and harvest rates. This is a collaborative effort that provides state and federal government biologists insight into population dynamics to provide and implement best management practices to monitor and sustain healthy wild duck populations throughout North America.
