Dumbstruck (previously known as Thrubeingcool and later known as Amity) was a pop punk band from Downey, CA.
With the release of their debut EP 'Five Star Day', the band quickly earned a reputation for themselves as one of the hardest working bands in the area by screenprinting their own shirts/merch and booking their own tours.
There is a later Amity release after the first two EPs, however none of the members who played on 'Five Star Day' or 'Amor Vincit Omnia' are featured.
Members of Dumbstruck/Amity later went on to play in Set Your Goals.
Five Star Day was released in May 2002 on Heldwithin Records.
