While development of the main simulation continues, this test showcases early rendering experiments for dense particle-based dust clouds. The goal is to explore alternative ways of visualizing large particle datasets more efficiently while maintaining a convincing overall appearance. The current approach converts cached particle data into a unified billboard mesh, with camera-facing alignment, adaptive sizing based on local density, and basic temporal smoothing. Additional techniques such as motion-based stretching and layered UV texturing are being tested to approximate turbulent structures and improve visual coherence. These results are still highly experimental and subject to change, but they provide a first glimpse into a potential rendering workflow for large-scale dust simulations.
