Na vier eeuwen gemeenschappelijke geschiedenis heeft bijna 10% van de Nederlanders Indisch bloed in de familie. In de filmische documentaire ‘Sporen van Indië’ wordt deze lange en gecompliceerde geschiedenis door presentator Hans Goedkoop tot leven gewekt aan de hand van de historische kruisbestuiving tussen Indië en de stad Amersfoort, zomaar een stad midden in Nederland. **** English **** Dutch Colonial Traces On the street, in the house, even in the skin of people around us. Everywhere you will find the Indies traces of a history that changed the Netherlands forever. Historian and documentary maker Hans Goedkoop, who is also of Indonesian descent, made a documentary about the four centuries of intertwining of the Indies and the Netherlands entitled: Dutch Colonial Traces – in the middle of the Netherlands. Goedkoop wrote the script and presents the documentary. Many aspects of the Indies influences on the entire Dutch society are discussed: The Indos, the Moluccans, but also the veterans and the Totoks, the plantations and the boarding houses.
