We can use Dynamic Assessment during a speech evaluation to give us great information about the level of support a student needs to successfully produce a sound, word, or phrase.
This is one of the easiest and quickest uses of Dynamic Assessment.
In this video example, we used the Bilingual Articulation and Phonology Assessment (BAPA) for our test portion, then we used the BAPA Dynamic Assessment Protocol Form from the Bilinguistics Resources Library to work our way through the process.
In the end, we were able to confidently diagnose our student with a speech disorder.
