In our previous section of Dynamics, we were looking at Kinematics. That is, how to calculate the position, velocity, and acceleration of an object.
Recall that we did this using different coordinate systems; X,Y,Z (rectangular coordinates), Normal-Tangential, and Radial-Transverse
In this section of Dynamics, we look at Kinetics, which is, HOW is this motion created with Forces.
To succeed in this section, you'll need all the kinematics stuff we've done in the past, Newton's 2nd Law, and a knowledge of the different types of Forces (friction, springs, etc.) and how they work.
