Dynamo Script for Gravity Network Creation from Shapefile

In this video we are going to import a designed gravity network to civil3d via importing shapefile, to create the civil3d gravity network. For automatic profile creation check the other video for automatic profile creation, which is a very powerful and time saving script, in the below link https://youtu.be/6ynpEFiMrDY Ok then let’s start. 1- Ensure that you have a proper gravity part list in the file. 2- Export SHP files from SewerCAD. 3- Go to civil3d and open the script (not the dynamo player this time) open part-1 of the script. 4- Freeze the red part until finishing the inputs. 5- Make the inputs as illustrated in the video. 6- Unfreeze the red part and run the script. 7- The network is now created, but needs to run part-2 of the script to insure the connection of the pipes with the manholes. 8- Now open part-2 and make the inputs and run the script. #dynamo #civil3d #network #gravity #pipe #shapefile #gis
