This could save your radiator!! (the manual fan can explode at old age) A quick overview of what converting your e36 to an electric fan looks like. This is on a 1994 325is, but it would be the same for any 6 cylinder e36. maybe the 318, idk. Its very cheap if you do it yourself and don't buy a kit. Here are my expenses: Fan: $25 - eBay Relay: $7 - radio shack switch: $4 - radio shack solder: $2 - radio shack connectors, wire, tape, etc, - already had.... in summary, its a very worth while project to do, it may very well save your radiator. My last manual fan exploded and killed my stock radiator, thats why I have an all-aluminum one now.
