Written by Eamonn MacDonncha. I wrote this song about 25 years ago, sometime in my late teens. There’s an old demo tape of it too somewhere from back then , buried in a box no doubt, that I must root out sometime. I suppose it’s about a lonely man who’s getting on a bit ,who’s thinking about the one that got away, and what might’ve been. It’s one I’ve always liked, and decided to record it recently for my album ‘Somewhere near the Edge’ in late 2022. Hope you enjoy it.
