Spring Gardening Updates: Finishing the Asparagus Bed, Planting Sugar Snap Peas and Starting Seedlings Indoors…we are so happy to be prepping for the 2026 growing season🙂 It’s that time again, time to start planning and planting our spring garden❤️ After a harsh and frozen winter, we are finally back at it. Each spring we begin the gardening season with an overhaul on the asparagus bed. This is always a huge undertaking and often takes many days. We also strive to plant our sugar snap peas in late February or early March, along with tilling the larger garden. Although our peas are in, we are a little behind schedule and the garden has yet to be tilled, but hopefully we can do that soon because we have other crops that will soon be ready to plant. This is always a fun and exciting time of year!
