Once that ink is dry in late winter or early spring, the real work begins. These reports will flow from engineering partners → ISPs → state broadband offices → NTIA. BEAD construction timelines run four years, and federal performance reporting can extend up to a decade. The volume and rigor are significant—and waiting until the last minute is the most common and costly mistake.
