In this video explaining one problem Simpson's one third rule taking six sub intervals.This problem very easy to understand. Simpson's one-third rule is a higher-order method than the trapezoidal rule meaning that it converges to the true value of the integral faster as the number of subintervals increases. However it can only be used for even values of n and the error can become large if the function being integrated is not well approximated by a quadratic polynomial.
