As we remember his sacrifice, For the sins of our lives, He rose again to give us life, To remind us that death is just a passing phase. As grief enters our days, We remember the love we shared, In faith we pray for the days, When together we give God praise. Walking through the loneliness and pain, We continue to walk in faith, Our days ahead some day will end, And Jesus will welcome us as his friend. We pray and give thanks for our salvation, Fresh grief at Easter for our loss, Seems to magnify our pain, As we find new meaning to Easter Mourning.
