Sydney Royal Easter Show tickets must be purchased online at Ticketmaster, there are no ticket sales at the gate. You will need to select the date of attending. Tickets are non-transferable to other Show days so remember to select the day carefully. Tickets include return travel on public transport. You can take trains there for free. Alternatively, parking is available at $30 per day flat rate. Easter Show tickets are $41 for adults, $25.50 for children, $31 for concessions or $120 for a family of 2 adults and 2 children. The 200 Years Bicentenary Street Parade features fashions and entertainment fads, dancers, drummers and circus performers traveling around the grounds and back in time 3 times a day at 11.30am, 1pm and 2.30pm. Follow the footprints and stroll along the Animal Walk, and in and out of pavilions, to see all the Sydney Royal award-winning animals and farmyard friends from goats and sheep cows, alpacas and horses... with chooks and ducks and goats in between. You can watch live chicken hatching here too. If your little children are fans of Peppa Pig, don’t forget to take them to the Peppa Pig Meet & Greet at the Pig Pavilion. Get yourself surrounded by farm animals at the Farmyard Nursery. Visit the Riverina Fresh Working Dairy for a great insight into where our food comes from. The Sydney Royal Easter Show Grand Parade at GIANTS stadium is believed to be the first of its kind in the world since 1907 and has been copied by every major agricultural show in Australia. You can watch the best of the best in Australian agriculture make their way around the main arena in a spectacular procession. The Grand Parade is an opportunity to pay silent homage to Sydney Royal Competition winners including animals, producers, champion woodchoppers, and future community leaders in a celebration of Australian agriculture. Woodchopping is always a favorite at the Show at the MasterChef Woodchop Stadium. The competition in Sydney, long regarded as the Wimbledon of Woodchop, attracts competitors from across Australia and the globe. In the tree felling competition the competitor chops notches in a tree log and inserts a board into the cut. The board is then used as a platform in order to cut higher up the tree. This is done three times in order to get to the top of the tree and cut, before coming back down and starting again on the opposite side eventually the competitor is back at the top and cutting all the way through so that the top of the tree falls to the ground. Sydney Royal Horse Show Showjumping is in GIANTS stadium daily. The horse and the rider take on a course of 10-13 jumps or fences including walls and oxers (two jumps) and compete in a race against the clock. Penalties are given if a horse knocks a rail to the ground or refuses a jump, or if the time limit is exceeded. Professional riders compete in the Open Competitions whilst Junior, Amateur and Pony Club sections remain separate. You can sit back and enjoy wonderful performances of dance groups and soloists at the Little Big Top Amphitheatre. The Kids' Carnival offers children and families a wonderful world of excitement, gasps and giggles. You have many choices including Tea Cups, Pirates Revenge, Haunted Hotel,The Beast, Rebel Coaster, Animal Kingdom Jungle Safari, Carousel, Enchanted Circus, Cars 4 Kids, Super Slide and carnival games. Don’t miss the evening entertainment and non-stop action in the GIANTS Stadium. Journey back in time to the horse-drawn and motorcycle chariots of Shows gone by; marvel at the magnificent hot air balloon, terror of the MotorX stunt bikes, spectacular fireworks.
