***INCREASED RAINFALL EXPECTED FOR THE WEEKEND***
A Trough currently across the western Caribbean is expected to linger across the region through to early next week. Therefore, expect an increase in rainfall activities across Jamaica beginning on Friday afternoon through to Sunday.
The forecast is for mostly cloudy conditions with periods of showers and thunderstorms, which may be heavy at times, to affect sections of most parishes, primarily southern and northeastern parishes, especially during the afternoons
Fishers and other marine interests, especially inshore and offshore the south coast, should exercise caution as sea conditions will deteriorate in the vicinity of showers and thunderstorms.
