Easy Anti Cheat through Proton on Elden Ring | Gentoo Linux Guide
As of glibc version 2.36, you need to compile with the "hash-sysv-compat" USE flag for it to work. This video covers the process of creating an instance of Elden Ring that is compliant with Easy Anti Cheat so you can connect online through proton. This took me a very long time to get working, but thankfully this seems to solve the problem.
