This cream cheese danish is so delicious and amazingly simple & quick to make, and makes a great breakfast, dessert or snack!
Cream Cheese Danish
2 cans Crescent roll dough
2 8-oz. blocks of cream cheese, softened
1 c. Sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. Powdered sugar
6 tbsp. water
Preheat oven to 350°. Beat softened cream cheese for 1-2 minutes. Add sugar, egg, & vanilla. Mix until blended and smooth. Line bottom of 9x13 pan with can of crescent dough. Evenly spread filling over dough. Top with second can of crescent dough. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
While danish is baking, make glaze by mixing powdered sugar with water, starting with 3-4 tbsp. and adding 1 tbsp. at a time until desired consistency it’s reached. It should be pourable, but not thin. After danish has rested for 10-15 minutes, pout glaze on top and spread evenly. Serve warm or cold.
