Easy Ice Farm Tutorial - Modular, Expandable, Unbreakable - Works in Java & Bedrock!

I just released a simple AFK harvesting ice farm for Java here: https://youtu.be/JeOdLxSUjx0 Super simple: the basic build is shown in a time-lapse with additional explanation & instructions afterwards. Confirmed by other players this works in 1.20 bedrock & java. Please let me know if anything is unclear! And I hope you enjoy your Christmas! :) Thanks to everyone for confirming function in bedrock & java for multiple versions now! :D Apparently people have used waterlogged stairs in bedrock to refill the water - I don't know why it's needed, but that's what I hear. AKF 5-10 hours to store 1-2 chests of ice per module, then manually harvest: seems good for the early to mid game - or maybe even the late game if you don't like flying machines (or just don't like fixing them when they break), and would rather build a bunch of these that generate & store ice to harvest manually. Please be aware that this can easily be built to generate ice with the dimensions of 24x29x13 - see the explanation following the time-lapse for an explanation. I recommend leaving the clock running while harvesting so it pushes the lowest layer up, so you don't have to worry about accidently breaking anything while harvesting the ice. I'm used to playing with a mob switch so I didn't address this in the video: light sources will melt the ice if they're too close, so use transparent blocks for/to cover the upper blocks that don't have redstone dust on them.
