You don't need Octoprint to create timelapses anymore. I'll take you through all the steps of getting Klipper Timelapses working on Fluidd or Mainsail. I also have some tips for calibrating your webcam focus and settings at the end. Patreon Support: https://www.patreon.com/jjshankles Webcam I am using: https://amzn.to/3sxzwdg I love 3D printer timelapses. They were the reason I wanted to get a 3D printer initially, but since I switched to Klipper and Fluidd I had to give them up. Now I got it all configured and working, and you can too be creating amazing timelapses. This guide should work on Mainsail as well as Fluidd. My Macros I am using: (I was able to calibrate good results with moving the print head away) [firmware_retraction] retract_length: 6 # The length of filament (in mm) to retract when G10 is activated, # and to unretract when G11 is activated (but see # unretract_extra_length below). The default is 0 mm. retract_speed: 25 # The speed of retraction, in mm/s. The default is 20 mm/s. unretract_extra_length: 1 # The length (in mm) of *additional* filament to add when # unretracting. unretract_speed: 10 # The speed of unretraction, in mm/s. The default is 10 mm/s. [gcode_macro _TIMELAPSE_NEW_FRAME] gcode: {action_call_remote_method("timelapse_newframe")} ; leave this in a separate macro!
