With Labubu being so trendy right now and me being a HUGE FAN (PopMart please keep making them forever!) I decided to make a super easy Labubu cake that anyone can recreate at home! Here’s what you’ll need: - Two 8‑inch round cakes - A cake board - Icing (I’m using Italian meringue buttercream) - A spatula and a flexible scraper or piece of acetate to smooth the cake - Whip’N’Ice (a non‑dairy whipping cream that’s stable and super easy to pipe) or other pipeable frosting of your choice - Grass piping tip + piping bag - A mixer to whip the cream - Some beige fondant for the ears - An edible Labubu face image, i found mine on pinterest (you can usually order one at a grocery store or from a local baker) I use Whip’N’Ice for Labubu’s fluffy “fur” because it’s light and pipes beautifully – buttercream would work, but it can be a lot of frosting. I whip the whole container with pink gel food coloring, but only use about half, so grab a smaller size if you can. Once the cake is stacked and carved into a top‑forward shape, I use scissors to round it off and repurpose the offcuts to build out the front and back – almost no waste! Then, it’s just piping the fur, adding the ears and face, and you’re done. This cake is adorable, easy, and super on‑trend – every teen I know is obsessed with Labubu. I even carry a PopMart Labubu "Loyalty" charm on my bag because, well, they’re just that cute 🥰 If you want more Labubu tutorials, I’m planning a fondant cupcake topper and maybe even a full 3D sculpted cake version – let me know if you’d watch those! Thank you for watching! 😘 Music “Angel’s Dream” by Aakash Gandhi – from the YouTube Audio Library
