No act of love, however small, is ever wasted I mistakenly gave the baking temperature at 360 degrees F. The correct temperature is 450 F for 15 to 20 minutes. The recipe is below. Thanks for watching!! MY DOUGH WAS JUST A SMIDGEN TOO WET SO HOLD BACK SLIGHTLY WITH THE BUTTERMILK! 2-1/2 cups self rising flour - I use White Lily but King Arthur sells a winter wheat flour also 1/2 cup (8 Tblsp) of frozen butter)...do NOT substitute 1 to 1 & 1/8 or 1/4 cups cold butter milk (depends on how much you need to get the right ratio) Pulse butter and at least 1/2 cup of the flour until you get large chunks about the size of a pinto bean, no smaller than that. Add it to the rest of the flour in your bowl, mix it in with your hands until the butter is scattered well into all the flour. Put the entire bowl in the freezer for 10 to 15 minutes. Make a hole in the center of the flour and start with 1 cup of the buttermilk..if the mixture is dry, add a little more buttermilk. Do NOT stir more than 15 to 20 times. Pour onto a well floured surface. Sprinkle top with flour so it isn't sticky or tacky on your hands. Roll out the dough, fold in thirds and continue this procedure 5 times. On the 5th time, roll out the dough about 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick and cut out your biscuits. Place on a lightly greased baking sheet. The time in YOUR oven may vary so the first time you make them set the timer for 15 minutes. Add more time if needed. Enjoy these wonderful no fail biscuits!! Preheated oven @ 460 F for about 15 minutes. Enjoy these wonderful biscuits!! My wish list on amazon : http://a.co/0QkOnec My snail mail address is Hands That Cook P.O.
