Having trouble with pre-cut 2 1/2" wide strips not being wide enough because they have pinked edges? This demo is a little different than the usual way you are taught at Quiltworx. I've done it this way because of the pinked strips that are a bit narrower than normal. The way it is done here will help you to avoid any little holes in your seams. Please forgive my straying from the "correct way" - and enjoy your pinked strip quilt. Here is a way to use that Judy Niemeyer pattern for the Stepping Stones quilt, and a way to use those pesky "skinny" strips while piecing together a "J" block. Don't be discouraged - you can make this work!! ;)
