ECOS Function Enable: The GMK generation 2 cranes require the operator to select each needed function separately. To prevent the operator from pressing all functions at once the wiring is such that each pressed switch locks out the next switch making the operator deliberately select the function. Because the switches are interconnected in this way an operator can get a failed function switch to work in order to complete a job without delay.
