EcoSystem Part III
๐ Describe Ecosystems | Types of Ecosystems for Kids In this video, students will learn about ecosystems in a fun and simple way! An ecosystem is made up of living things (plants, animals) and nonliving things (water, air, soil) that interact with each other in an environment. We explore how ecosystems can be different based on: โ๏ธ Climate (weather patterns) โ๏ธ Soil or water type โ๏ธ Living organisms ๐ Deep Sea Ecosystem The deep sea is found at the bottom of the ocean where there is no sunlight. Animals here crawl or stick to surfaces to survive. ๐ Kermadec Arc A deep-sea ecosystem in the Pacific Ocean with no sunlight and special organisms adapted to extreme conditions. ๐๏ธ Sahara Desert A very dry ecosystem in Africa with very little rain and thin soil. ๐ Tide Pool Ecosystem Tide pools are full of life! They flood and drain daily and contain nutrient-rich water. ๐ Little Corona Beach Located in California, it has many beautiful tide pool ecosystems. ๐ Lost City A unique deep-sea ecosystem in the Atlantic Ocean. ๐ด Masoala National Park A tropical rainforest with heavy rainfall all year and many different plants and animals. ๐ณ Temperate Deciduous Forest This ecosystem has warm summers, cold winters, and rich soil. ๐ Shenandoah National Park A great example of a temperate deciduous forest. ๐ Galapagos Rift Another deep-sea ecosystem in the Pacific Ocean. ๐ง Okavango Delta A wetland ecosystem where land is covered with water most of the year. โจ This video helps students understand how ecosystems work and how they are different from each other! ๐ Perfect for Grade 2โ4 students ๐ Like, Share, and Subscribe for more learning videos!
